Sympathize With The Rain

Sometimes, over the monotonous hills of logic and the senseless ramblings of the self, I find myself thirsting for a ruler. The sweet dreams overtake me and I listen to find comfort from them. As I search, I find a God who cares. He knows what i'm dealing with. He can set a fire in my cold, unfeeling heart. I pray for wisdom, but sometimes it seems like I am coming undone. I cry for comfort, but sometimes all I feel is guilt. But some days I know that He can bear it all. And that He will rejoice when I feel His love. That He will sorrow when I turn away. Because of this, I can sympathize with the rain and let the thunder cry on my shoulder. I can jump for joy with the sun and giggle with the sky. I can take my cross and follow Him. And He will take my sins and lead the way.
