sunrises and flowers
abigail had the amazing idea of waking up early in the morning and going to the beach and watching the sunrise...so we did. grace and i spent the night and we all fell asleep at 4 in the morning and woke up at 5 and got ready and drove to the beach and watched the beautiful sunrise...and wow. it was so worth it. especially with my favorite humans in the world (my two daughters;)) getting one hour of sleep never felt more invigorating. funny enough, when we all woke up, we were super tired and wanted to not go. but as we got ready and got in the car and started driving, we all started feeling super pumped (at least grace and i did lol). we blasted taylor swift super loud and got excited and kept telling abigail to drive faster. but it all kind of like a dream and everything was happening in a blur. a big happy loud blur.
when we ran across the busy street to the beach, it was breathtaking. the waves were rolling for just us three. the sky was barely waking up, putting on her cheerful covers after such a short summer night of darkness. and we were drinking it all in. salty air, sandy toes, crisp breeze. even though we were alone we were whispering, in awe of the vastness of the water and the quietness of it all. it was alot to soak in.
i decided to get some silhouette pictures of my two best friends :))
after exploring the waves for a bit, we opted for a lil photoshoot, each of us taking turns being the photographer.
first up, grace and i took some pictures along the sea wall, and they turned out pretty cute and silly...
then we found tons of flowers along the wall, and HAD to take pics:)

after a while we spread out on the blanket and put music on and just listened to the sound of the waves rolling in. grace took a nap, and me and abigail just sat in silence, feeling like we were in a dream...it was the most relaxing thing everrrrr!!!!
then we found some more flowers so we obviously had to take pictures with those!!

i had the time of my life, with my little cult. they are the most amazing, beautiful, caring besties in the world, and i love that we got to experience this together!
